Miriam Miranda is a visual artist with a degree in Scenography and Clothing from the EBA - Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, painting from the Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage and has a postgraduate degree latu sensu in Art Therapy by Clínica Pomar de Arteterapia /FAVI, Faculdade Vicentina.
She lives in Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil, where she also works as a businesswoman at Pazaa - a company specialized in artistic and therapeutic art workshops.
Participated in Arte de Portas Abertas de Santa Teresa since 2010 in group exhibitions and urban interventions; was part of the board of directors (2016-2017) of the Association of Visual Artists of Santa Teresa - Chave Mestra 570-cc50-cc58d5 responsible for development 5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_do website and social media management of the 2016 association à 2018..
He has given artistic workshops to the SESC Rio network since 2010 and currently provides individual and corporate art therapy services.
Obra
A multi-media contemporary artist, Miriam Miranda expresses herself through paintings, installations and assemblages, revealing endless possibilities for the representation of spatial elements. These representations are the result of studies on the influence of sensory stimuli, mainly the visual one, no empowerment of the Essential Being or Self. Your work includes the use of fabrics, trims and various materials.
